Writing for crowdfunding is a learned and practiced skill, so most platforms are open to hiring candidates from different writing backgrounds as long as their grammar and writing skills are on point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis also involves being creative with your writing style and format, and that comes with understanding the space and the audience. These skills can be learned, and anyone looking for a shift to the social sector and hasn\u2019t worked in this space before need not be discouraged \u2014 there\u2019s plenty of scope to learn\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Working in the social sector can be overwhelming. With tight turnaround times and constant exposure to heartbreaking information and pictures, it\u2019s an emotional process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt can be tiring and daunting, but once you see the impact you\u2019ve made, it all seems worth it. Writing requires you to give your all, use your emotions, while also keeping in mind what clicks with the audience,\u201d says Arunima Bhattacharya, Editor at Donatekart.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

She believes that being ready to unlearn is one quality that will not only help understand the space better, but also make you a better writer. This kind of content can also be repetitive \u2014 you might find yourself working on similar causes and angles, but that\u2019s where your creativity comes to play. It can be a challenge, but not one that can\u2019t be overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
