Pujaris Are Struggling To Survive The Second Wave, Support Brahmana Seva Vahini To Help Them Today

Pujaris often earn their livelihood based on the offerings given by devotees, and through functions and ceremonies that are conducted. They live a modest life and rely on essentials to get by. Unfortunately, ever since the beginning of the pandemic, they have been struggling.

Today, due to the second wave, hundreds of pujaris are out of work. While under normal circumstances thousands of believers go to temples, the need for social distancing called for temples and other religious places to be shut. With the ban on social gatherings, they’re unable to perform pujas. This has put a huge strain on the pujaris working there. The temples were their only source of income, and now, they have nothing. 

Brahmana Seva Vahini is an organization based in Hyderabad dedicated to giving support to the Brahmin community. They provide medical support, financial aid, and education support to the community, and also conduct ceremonies for the poor and needy.

Their efforts since the beginning of the first wave have been consistent and relentless. They helped hundreds of families get essential groceries and want to continue to do the same during the second wave too. 

However, they can’t do it on their own. Brahmana Seva Vahini needs your help to give groceries to pujaris during these difficult times. They can barely afford meals for themselves, and these grocery kits will help them cook nutritious meals.

It is an organization dedicated to giving support to the Brahmin community. They provide them with medical support, financial aid, and educational support. They also provide Vedic instruction to young Brahmins to earn a living. They conduct Brahmin ceremonies for the poor and the needy. They've been working towards empowering the underprivileged priests and the others in the Brahmin community by helping them learn the various wrought professions for a sustainable livelihood.
