You Can Help Hundreds Of Underprivileged Children Get An Education
Feel free to ask Campaigner for a new update on this Fundraiser.
Project
In a country with a population of over a billion people, about one-third are children, with the rate of extreme poverty at 21%; that is a lot of underprivileged children in India who have no access to nutritious food or decent education. These children have no option but to work as child laborers to support their families and earn their daily bread. So not only are they missing out on the opportunity for a happy and healthy childhood but also on building a better future through education.
The reality of underprivileged children in the country
Underprivileged children miss out on every opportunity to live a nourishing childhood, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Less than half of children between the ages of 6 and 14 go to school in the country. As these children grow, they are less likely to support themselves fully or become contributing citizens to the country. The lack of education will inevitably set them on the path toward poverty and even crime. Many of these children who are probably even gifted intellectually will never have an opportunity to polish their talents and contribute towards the development of the nation. They need some support to show an interest in education as it is mostly a luxury they cannot afford otherwise.
How you can contribute to a brighter future for underprivileged children
Many people may not fully appreciate the importance of contributing to charity or might even be critical of the way organizations use up their donations. If you have concerns in that regard, then you can still make a difference by contributing directly to education by donating stationery kits.
Due to financial crisis, we are in need of help in procuring the items. A small contribution from you today can make a big difference to their future tomorrow.
