    Project

That wonderful time of the year is back again. The time when family and friends come together to celebrate Diwali. This occasion is marked by fireworks, good food and of course new clothes. We all remember the excitement during Diwali when we used to wear new clothes. Even this year, we have all bought new clothes for Diwali. Many children, however, do not have this privilege.

We all grew up with really fond memories of Diwali. For millions of children around the country, Diwali can be a very sad time. Many children come from poor families that can’t even afford two meals per day, Diwali for them is a very far-fetched dream. Many children don’t even have parents. It is extremely painful for them to see other children with their mothers and fathers. One can only imagine the loneliness they feel.

For Diwali, the least we can do is bring some joy in the form of clothes for these children. You have a chance to make a child very happy. For the cost of two sweet boxes, you can donate a pair of new clothes for a child in need.
