Give Hundreds Of Abandoned Elderlies A More Comfortable & Dignified Life
Feel free to ask Campaigner for a new update on this Fundraiser.
Project
There are thousands of senior citizens who are abandoned by their families as they’re considered a ‘burden’. Their age and their inability to earn an income or contribute as they could earlier are seen as a liability. So many of them are left in old-age homes, and some are even left to beg on the streets. Their condition is truly heartbreaking.
Today, over 18 million senior citizens are homeless in India - many of whom live in difficult conditions and struggle to survive every day. It is estimated that the number of elderly people will increase to 173 million by 2026. With no one to lean on, these elderlies are helpless.
They Suffer Through Physical And Mental Illness Alone
With old age comes a number of physical and mental illnesses. They struggle to do everyday tasks - often having to deal with discomfort and pain. Some are completely bedridden and can’t even go to the bathroom by themselves. They defecate in their undergarments or pass urine in their sleep.
At a time like this when they are the most vulnerable, these senior citizens are left with no one to care for them.
You Can Help Them By Donating Adult Diapers
Adult diapers can go a long way in helping hundreds of senior citizens live a healthy and more comfortable life. Your contribution will ensure these senior citizens live a more comfortable and healthy life.
Donate and give them a life of dignity.
