Story of the changemaker

“I met with an accident a few years ago, and I didn’t think I’d survive. My car somersaulted thrice, but I made it without a single scratch on my body. I wondered why God saved me, what my purpose was. And I found it soon enough - to help and serve people who have been abandoned and are on the brink of death. Everywhere I went, I could see helpless people on the road, especially old people who no one wanted to take in. All around me I could see injustice.” - Donatekart's on ground NGO Partner

Donatekart Is For Anyone In Need

Donatekart's on ground NGO rescues and rehabilitates people who are left to die on the streets of Hyderabad. Here all their food, living, and medical needs are taken care of, and they are served with love and care by the people working. Today, we has three such homes in Hyderabad for the abandoned and needy.

“We get so many calls every day to rescue people. There are some who are found in such terrible conditions, that even hospitals refuse to take them in sometimes. I have to remove the maggots from their bodies myself.”

Everyone has a place at the Donatekart. Even though so many of them are nearing death, we ensure they’re well taken care of and go with peace and dignity.

Donatekart with the support of on ground NGO Have Saved 600+ People So Far

We believe that every day is an opportunity to help someone in need. We have saved over 600 people until now, and continues to be relentless in the efforts to give them a better life and home. For us, the smile on their faces when they know they’ve found a safe home is worth everything.

However, the pandemic has been a challenging time for many, and the same holds true for us. We have been doing his best to give the residents a comfortable life. We also distributed oxygen cylinders and concentrators to the needy during the second wave. But now we can’t do all of this on our own anymore.

We Need Your Help Now

Donatekart now needs your help to get grocery kits, vegetable kits and hygiene kits for the residents of our on ground NGO. This will ensure that they get fresh and healthy meals every day, and the hygiene kits will allow them to live a more comfortable life. These people have overcome so many difficulties, now we can be the reason they overcome this hurdle too.
