It’s been nearly two years since the beginning of the pandemic and lakhs of people in India continue to struggle to get back on their feet again. With the winter approaching, they not only have to worry about feeding their families but also keeping them warm and protected.
This Kartik Purnima, FORESEE (For Empowering Society Ecology & Environment) India Foundation wants to do their bit to help the poor, needy and homeless. Kartik Purnima is an auspicious day that is celebrated on the fifteenth lunar day in the month of Kartik - usually overlapping October and November. It is believed that it was on this day that Lord Diety defeated the three demons. It is considered one of the holiest months and is believed to be the month of awakening the soul with meditation and celebration. This year, Kartik Purnima falls on 19th November.
Foresee India Foundation Aims To Uplift The Poor
Foresee India Foundation is the brainchild of Dr. Aahuti Bajpai Ojha, who has a doctorate in environmental science and has numerous research papers to her credit. She started the NGO with the vision of promoting community participation in environmental and social issues to help build a safer, happier, and prosperous society.
Based out of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, this Foresee is dedicated to social welfare and environmental conservation.
Kartik Purnima announces the onset of winters and during this time it is considered very pious to distribute warm clothing among the poor and the needy. Like last year, Foresee India Foundation wants to continue its service during this auspicious month.

Foresee India Foundation needs your help to distribute blankets, woolen caps, socks, rice, and dal to the poor and homeless who live around Shani Mandir, Vishnupad Mandir, Dubhal, and Dalit Basti areas in the city of Gaya. These essentials will ensure that the underprivileged and elderlies are kept safe and protected during the harsh winters.
