Join Hands With Goa Outreach To Help Disadvantaged Children And Bring The Light Of Education For Them

We currently assist over 130 students from 1st standard and up to college level with two students currently completing their masters’ degrees.  These children are provided with all the requirements for attending formal schools.  This includes School bags, uniform, shoes, books, stationery and fees.

The children attend govt recognised schools and colleges in the local area.  After school the child have access to our small centre which we use as a base and resource centre where the children can come for extra help, to use computers and take printouts.

We also provide meals at the centre for any children that come before lunch and during the national lockdown we supported thousands of families with basic rations (rice, dal, oil etc) due to the unprecedented need.  As well as food at the centre we give out Diwali / Eid rations to the families during the festivals, this consists of a good range of basic dry goods, spices, oil, health care items etc.

Another area we help is with Health and Hygiene and clothing.  The children are provided with Soap, Toothpaste & brush, Shampoo, monthly pads (for the older girls), mosquito protection on a monthly basis.  We also pay for medicine, doctor/dentist/hospital chargers. 

We also celebrate by giving gifts in December and lots more.As well as supporting our main children, we also help a good number of other children on an ad hock basis whenever there is a need.

Due to the pandemic, we are running short on all donations and need your support to enable us to continue providing the same level of help to the disadvantaged children using our services.  Our first and most current is the need for books and stationary items as children are finally returning to schools/colleges.

Goa Outreach, founded in 2016 in Goa as a registered trust.  The main focus is to help children from disadvantaged families with their education. We also help with health, hygiene and any personal issues the children are facing.
