Please help us feed, bathe, and treat the one hundred and twenty vulnerable dogs who are with us because they have no one else.
Leela's Place Foundation is where abandoned, and or abused pets or community dogs (strays) find a home. Many go on to their permanent families and homes that we chose with great care. But for some, Leela's Place becomes their permanent home.I become I their mother. The senior ones, the chronically ill ones, the ones who have been totally broken emotionally become my family. Because no one wants to take such vulnerable dogs home.
Leela's place is a squeaky clean, sunny, airy house with large lawns for the dogs to run and play.
It is where unfortunate dogs recover physically and emotionally. It is where every dog is a pet and where they are all treated like precious pets should be. Where they all become happy and healthy.
It is not a shelter. It is a retreat where dogs who have no one find care, love and peace. As much as humanly possible.
Note: Donations towards this fundraiser are not eligible for any tax deduction such as 80G, 501(c) etc.
