Project
Assam floods have left over 4.5 million people including 1 million children from 4536 villages in 30 districts at risk of disease, poor nutrition and displacement. The consequences for the most marginalized communities are worrying.
The Floods have widely damaged the houses, farm lands, schools, bridges and road links across Assam. Thousands of families are forced to take shelter on schools, highways and temporary relief camps. Our team is on the ground, providing urgent support to the affected people. The need for food, drinking water is enormous. We request you to come forward and support our appeal. How will your donations be used?
The donation will be utilized for providing essential rations across the following districts: Cachar, Karimganj, Baksa, Udalguri, Goalpara, Barpeta, Kamrup(M).
100% of the funds will be used to provide immediate relief to affected families. We will disclose the use of proceeds in a financial transparency report.
About Organisation:
NOCPL through its CSR initiative partners with Banks, polytechnics, National Skill Development Corporation Approved institutions and Bank sponsored RSETIs. They facilitate their members and their families to avail livelihood skills and other training through these institutions. It believes in an equitable society. This time NOCPL is striving to contribute to this disaster relief program for people affected in Assam
