Project
Yash was only a young boy when he knew that serving those in need was his real calling. He wanted to give back to those who have no one to look after them. He started off with blood donation camps and it was during one of those camps that Yash came across an old lady in a terrible condition.
Yash dreams of an India where the aged and helpless won’t be left on their own. He wants them to be surrounded by family and loved ones during their final years but he also knows that it will take a long time to make his dream come true.
“In 2014, we started our journey and currently we have 38 senior citizens staying with us. Each one of them has a heartwrenching story to share. Some have been forced out of their homes while others have willfully come out to live on the streets because of the abuse they faced at the hands of their own families. Nirashreet Seva Ashram wants to give all of them a roof over their heads - a life of dignity and respect.”
Help Yash give the elderly a better life, donate now
Yash and his team have been carrying out this service for over 8 years with the help of kind-hearted souls around them. But it is getting more and more difficult for them to do all of it on their own. They need your support.
“You can donate groceries and hygiene products which will help us take care good care of our residents. They need us and every small donation will make a difference.”
