Bringing Diwali Joy to Rural India: Donate Mithai and Clothes

In the heart of rural India, where the simple joys of life often shine the brightest, Diwali is a time of celebration and togetherness. It's a time when families come together to light diyas, share sweets, and exchange love and warmth. However, for many underprivileged families in these areas, the festivities of Diwali remain a distant dream. This is where the Pagaria Welfare Foundation steps in to make a difference.

Recognizing the significance of Diwali in India, the foundation set out to bring a sparkle to the lives of underprivileged families in rural areas. They initiated the "Diwali Mithai and Clothes Drive" with a dual mission:

1. Distributing Mithai (Sweets): Diwali is incomplete without the sharing of mithai. The foundation collected donations of sweets and collaborated with local sweet shops to procure an assortment of delectable treats.

2. Providing New Clothes: Alongside the mithai, new clothes were an essential part of the drive. They wanted to ensure that every child in these rural communities would have a new outfit to wear on this special occasion.

Mithai and clothes will be distributed at our community learning centers and skill centers in Bihar , Rajasthan , Jharkhand and Maharashtra
