Save Thousands Of Cows From The Bitter Cold This Winter By Donating Blankets

Feel free to ask Campaigner for a new update on this Fundraiser.

    Project

As winter approaches and we find warmth and comfort in our homes, we often forget about those on the streets who are struggling to make it through the day. Especially those who can’t even express the pain and discomfort they are in - animals.

India has over 5 million stray cattle, many of whom don’t find safe shelter or food. They’re forced to rummage through garbage, starve for days and sometimes even succumb to their illness due to lack of help. In winter, their challenges only increase. Cold and shivering, our gaumatas have nowhere to go to stay warm and protected.

This winter, Radha Rani Gau Seva Trust wants to ensure thousands of cows in Vrindavan are safe from the bitter cold by giving them blankets. However, they need your help to do this.

A Trust That Is Dedicated To Serving Gaumatas

Started by Diety Keshav Das, Radha Rani Gau Seva Trust works tirelessly to help abandoned cows by giving them food, shelter and medical treatment. They currently have 45 cows in their gaushala and feed them five times daily to keep them healthy and fit. All the cows are looked after with utmost love and care.

“We decided to officially register this Trust last year because of my son. He’s so young, but he loves looking after cows. No matter where we are, if he sees a cow, he feeds her. Looking at his passion and dedication towards gaumatas, we decided we need to do more for them. Along with the cows at the gaushala, we feed abandoned and orphaned cows, bulls, retired oxen, calves and others. These poor animals roam the streets with no one to help them, and we want to ensure each one of them gets the care they deserve.” - Diety Keshav Das, President, Radha Rani Gau Seva Trust

The Trust also provides special medical treatment to those found sick on the streets of Vrindavan.

“Cows are God, the ever-giving nourisher who helps sustain life. Our gaumata deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Unfortunately, so many of them are left to fend for themselves when they are old, injured or sick. At Radha Rani Gau Seva Trust, we do our best to ensure no cow in Vrindavan is left helpless.”

This Winter, Help Them Keep Thousands Of Gaumatas Warm

Radha Rani Gau Seva Trust now wants to continue its service by helping thousands of cows get blankets this winter. These blankets will protect them from the harsh and bitter cold and help them stay safe even on the streets. They helped over 2000 cows get blankets last winter, and this time, they want to do more with your support.

“Winter has already begun and it’s only going to get older now, which means all the cows on the streets who don’t have shelter will have to brave the cold. We don’t want them to suffer through these few months, and with your support, we can reach out to so many more cows in need.”

Donate blankets for cows today to give these voiceless and innocent animals a safe winter. Let them not struggle in the bitter cold any longer. You can be the reason they survive.
