Help Haris Rescue, Shelter, Protect and Re-home speechless souls

It’s rather depressing when people gather around to hit an animal. It is scary and horrific to see them hit a puppy or a stray dog. I was nine years old when I saw three puppies and their mother near my house. They had nobody to take care of them and seemed very hungry. I decided to take the complete responsibility to feed and protect them. 

People in my neighbourhood hated those animals and often got aggressive. They would stop me from feeding those puppies. But I did not give up. In fact, I would save up my pocket money to buy biscuits for my favourite pup amongst the three. I had named him Sheru. Sheru became my life. Every day I would spend most part of my evenings with Sheru, until one day, when he was brutally murdered. That incident scarred me, for life. Fourteen years have passed, but the memory of him is still fresh and that’s what keeps me going even today.

Since then, I’ve decided to give up whatever I could to save these precious beings. I started Sarvoham trust by renting a house in the outskirts of Bangalore to shelter the abandoned puppies. Within a month, the house was filled with around 20 stray dogs.

We have successfully rescued, treated and helped many strays find permanent homes. 

But there are more than 150 dogs who’re going to stay at the Sarvoham home for the rest of their life as they’re old, abandoned, injured, challenged, visually challenged and deaf. We want to build a shelter that can accommodate up to 500 such beings while continuing to rescue and treat more animals.

We want to help all those we can. But without the right infrastructure and resources, we are failing to do our best. We urgently need a well-equipped animal shelter to help more and more animals

Sheru inspired me to start Sarvoham Welfare Trust and give a second chance to voiceless souls. Your contributions will enable us to sustain the shelter and rescue more animals who are in distress conditions.

Sarvoham Welfare Trust - Sarvoham Welfare Trust is a Bangalore based organisation dedicated towards the protection of animals. It was established in April 2017 by Haris Ali at the age of 23 whose mission is to 'Rescue, Shelter, Protect & Rehome.' The organisation provides shelter to abused, abandoned, sick, injured, retired captive life, and to promote public education about captive life issues.
