The flood situation in Bhagalpur district of Bihar remains pathetic due to the continuous rise in the water level of Ganga. More than 50 villages of the district were submerged. At the same time, flood water is entering schools and colleges.
People suffering from the ravages of floods are wandering in search of their whereabouts. In such condition, people are compelled to set up tents and camp.
At the same time, heavy rains have resulted in a sudden rise in water levels in many rivers and their tributaries, causing unexpected flood-like situations in flood-prone districts of the Seemanchal and Koshi regions. All the major rivers, including Ganga, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandak, Mahananda, Kamla Balan ,Bhuthi Balan,Bakra, Parmaan,Kankai and Lalbekiya are in spate.

Sahadeva foundation is a Non – Profit Organization registered under section 8 company. The foundation aims to provide free education, meals, health care and training to unprivileged children. It is also a centre for awareness, many health -related programs and campaigns.
