Touch the lives of these starving families with Sparsh

Appeal to help for Food Kits for Needy, Adivasi, Tribals, Migrants and Nomadic Tribes during Covid Lockdown.

Introduction about Sparsh Sparsh is a trust public registered trust that has been formed on the principle of “Jivdaya” which means being kind towards all living beings and helping them. Their core activities involve human and animal/ bird welfare, as well as Educational and Medical help to under-served people. Following the motto of “Helping those who help others”, Sparsh believes in the concept of being a support system for the organisations working in different spaces of Human and Animal Welfare, and to encourage them to achieve more in their respective fields of work. We run several projects including Annapurna by which 550 adivasi and poor kids across 12 villages near Kalyan, Maharashtra are provided Sunday Meal every week.

What is your program for which are seeking funds/donation in kind Corona pandemic has put everyone in a panic. The only cure to stem this deadly disease is to stay at home. The lockdown was prescribed by the government to keep the citizens safe. However, the lockdown was put with immediate effect. This stranded thousands of people. The problem is huge everywhere, however, its getting to desperation in villages where there are no reasources and not many trying to reach out.  

There are adivasi villages and nomadic tribal settlements which have people struggling for survival and are on the verge of starvation. Further old, handicapped, needy and Migrants are also struggling.

NGOs across the country have been working to provide food kits to needy. Sparsh works with various villages through its several projects and works with partner NGOs across the country for human and animal welfare. Since Lockdown Sparsh has reached out and helped more than 2000 families including those of Tribals, Nomads, Ragpicker community families, Migrants, old, handicapped and destitutes by providing them food kits which have ration that can help them not face starvation. They need your help to provide them with essential supplies such as Rice, Oil, Salt, Toor Dal, and so on. Find it in your heart to reach out to these families and help them survive this crisis. We have seen crises before, we have overcome them. We can do it again.
