At a time when they’re the most vulnerable, need the most love and care, and just want a shoulder to lean on, the elderly are often abandoned and even abused. After years and years of toiling for their families, they’re left with nothing to call their own - not even their own family.

India has around 100 million older adults, and with the numbers increasing, old age homes need all the support they can get. VridhCare is dedicated to helping the elders in old age homes get the best support and service so that they live a comfortable life. 

VridhCare Is Impacting The Lives Of 25,000+ Elderly People

Started by Dr. Shashi Khare in 2019, VridhCare is a non-profit organisation that partners with NGOs and old age homes in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab to assist the senior citizens there and provide them with the products they need to survive.

VridhCare is currently supporting over 230 NGOs which include over 20,000 elderly people in total. Their focus is holistic and they support the elderly with basic essentials like adult diapers, grocery kits, water dispensers etc, while also giving them means of entertainment in the form of different board games. VridhCare believes in creating a positive environment through recreational activities like yoga, meditation and support groups. Their organization also provides financial assistance and recognizes the talent or skill of individuals to help them get dignified jobs relevant and become self-sufficient.

Thousands of senior citizens have been given a new lease of life due to VirdhCare’s mission.

The Need For Adult Diapers Is Urgent

Old age and senility comes with its own share of pain and discomfort. A major issue that plagues old men and women is that of incontinence. Unable to control nature's calls, these helpless elders often soil themselves. It is not just a thing of embarrassment for them but also becomes a problem to maintain the hygiene.
