Story of the changemaker
Youth for Seva strongly believes that one of the most important ways to pay back a teacher's debt is to carry forward the knowledge to the next generation, and hence, has relentlessly driven various educational activities like in-formal schools, teach India, school kit drive, VidyaChetana, and so on since 2007.
Back to School, 2019 is one such campaign in collaboration with Donatekart which aims at empowering the young citizens of India and imparting quality education.As a part of this initiative, children from the urban slums in and around Hyderabad and Bangalore will receive a bunch of five notebooks each, at the beginning of this academic year.
The YFS volunteers will personally visit these Government schools and distribute the stationery to over 10,000 needful students.
