She has dedicated her life to helping those in need, and All Creatures Great And Small (ACGS) is a reflection of that.

 

A Forever Home For Sick & Injured Animals

“While volunteering at an animal shelter in Delhi, I was alarmed by the poor conditions of the shelter. I saw the lack of care and compassion and decided to start my own animal shelter. When I first started ACGS, I thought I would only take care of dogs, but because we’re in a rural area, other animals started coming in. All the animals here have gone through some kind of trauma - we look at some cases and wonder how they’ve made it this far. But they recover and get healthier here, and watching that is heartwarming.”

There are hundreds of dogs and animals, stray and domestic, who are injured and abandoned. They face injuries, diseases, starvation, and death on a daily basis. Every day is a struggle, with no guaranteed food, shelter, water, or security. It’s a truly painful sight to witness starved and injured animals on the street.

However, All Creatures Great And Small (ACGS) is a safe haven for them. This shelter in Harayana is a sanctuary for 700 animals including 450 stray dogs, cats, goats, horses, and other animals who are injured, sick, or challenged. At ACGS, these animals find a forever home filled with love, care and respect. Whether it’s food or their medical treatment, all their needs are taken care of.
