Let’s Come Together To Save Stray Dogs From Suffering In The Bitter Cold This Winter

Project
What comes to your mind when you hear the word winter? For some of us, it’s our favorite time of the year where no amount of coffee or tea seems to be enough and staying indoors is a luxury we can enjoy. Some of our pets enjoy the same luxuries too. Cuddled up beside us, they’re warm, well-fed, and given plenty of love.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a reality for the majority of stray dogs in India. These dogs face unspeakable atrocities on a day-to-day basis. Along with this, they’re also left starving and alone to brave every and any weather on the streets.
Thousands Of Stray Dogs Suffer During Winter
Now, winter is soon approaching, with some areas in India threatening to reach record low temperatures. This means that thousands of helpless stray dogs will be left to suffer, out in the bitter cold. The sights are similar every year - the dogs go looking for warmth in different places, but are shooed away by humans. They don’t have food and often fall ill due to the cold.
These stray dogs need us more than ever during these times. They have already suffered due to the pandemic, let us ensure they now have a better life.
The Silver Lining
There are several NGOs in India working tirelessly to help these stray dogs. During the winter, they want to give thousands of stray dogs coats so that they can stay warm and comfortable. These dogs can walk around and sleep in these dog coats.
Your support will ensure that thousands of dogs stay protected from the winter cold. These loving animals deserve all your support. Together, we can keep them safe.
