Mother To Premature Twins In NICU, Priyanka Needs Your Urgent Help To Save Them

"Thirty minutes – that’s all the time I get to see my babies. I can’t even hold them; they’re so fragile. Those precious moments pass in the blink of an eye, and soon the nurse asks me to leave my little girls in their care. Despite my efforts to stay strong, tears stream down my face. Will I ever be able to bring them home? Will they ever hear my voice and smile at me? I keep worrying about all this and more…,” - Priyanka Deora, mother. 

Priyanka and Sunil’s twins were born preterm and are extremely low weight. The little ones can’t even breathe on their own - they need constant oxygen support. Doctors have suggested that they stay in the NICU for at least 45 days. But these parents have no means with which they can continue this life-saving treatment for their twin babies. 

They said they could either save the mother or the babies - we have never been more scared  

Priyanka's pregnancy was difficult. She started having severe pain, and doctors in Malegaon suggested an ultrasound. The scan showed very low amniotic fluid, both babies were in danger. 

"When the doctors noticed a sudden drop in one baby's heart rate, Priyanka and I panicked. We knew we had to do everything to save our babies and my wife," Sunil said.

They rushed to Nashik, where Priyanka underwent an emergency C-section. There was no time to waste. After birth, the babies were moved to a specialty hospital for neonates.

"Since then, they've been in the NICU, surrounded by tubes and machines, in glass boxes. They're fed milk through nose pipes. Just seeing them like this breaks my heart," Sunil shared. 

They have borrowed from friends and used up their savings - they’re begging you for help 

Sunil works at a small shop in his village, and Priyanka is a homemaker. They had saved up for the pregnancy and their newborns, but now all their savings are gone. The NICU treatment keeping their baby girls alive has exhausted all their savings. They need over 10 lakhs to ensure their newborns can come home safely. They have no one to turn to except you.
