There are over 5 million abandoned cattle in India. The sights we see on the streets - of cows wandering around, rummaging through garbage to look for a little bit of food - is only a little glimpse into the painful lives of these animals. Many of them are left abandoned once they stop giving milk, some are taken to slaughterhouses and some even meet with accidents on the road.

Injured and abandoned, these innocent and gentle creatures have nowhere to go. Fortunately, there’s a silver lining. Several gaushalas across the country are doing their bit to give cows the safe and healthy life they deserve. Your monthly contribution will ensure that hundreds of cows are rescued, rehabilitated, and given the healthy food they need to survive.
