Following heavy downpour, the Viswamitri river in Vadodara breached the banks, flooding the city with water. The flash floods have disrupted the normalcy of life, bringing the city to a lockdown due the inundation. Child Help Foundation (CHF) needs your help in providing essential supplies.
The flash floods have claimed over 5 lives and displaced over 5,000 people within the city. Even nearby villages got submerged and the displaced citizens are seeking shelter on higher ground. These people are stranded without food, water and emergency supplies. Water from the overflowing Vishwamitri has inundated residential areas, hospitals, disrupting even emergency healthcare services even within in the city.
CHF has provided rescue and relief to disaster prone areas before. Their team is well equipped to manage these situations, and effectively carry out distribution of relief materials to the people in need. They need your help in order to save the stranded people in Vadodara. Contribute groceries and emergency supplies for the flood affected people in Vadodara.
