Project
Hi friends,
People with disabilities are showing that they can do great things too. And it is our responsibility to support their efforts.
We are shakti singh and we are a safe home to hundreds of abandoned and challenged individuals in India. When their own families left them on the roads to fend for themselves, we gave them hope and happiness.
We want to reach out to many more but it won’t be possible without your help. Donate now and be a part of this change.
Regards,
shakti singh
The winter season has set in, and a chilly breeze sweeps through the streets of India. While many of us are wrapped in cozy blankets, enjoying holidays and picnics, there are countless underprivileged souls who suffer in silence, devoid of the warmth and comfort that winter should bring.
Little Anu is one of them. She lives in a makeshift tent with her family under a flyover, every day is a struggle for the little one. But winters are especially difficult. For them, winter is not a season of joy; it's a time of constant suffering. Lack of amenities, no warm clothes, and the biting cold become their daily adversaries.

Thousands die a painful death because of the harsh weather - they’re victims not of choice but of circumstance
As our cars move past the busy streets, all of us get to see individuals covered in tattered rags, sitting by bonfires on the cold, unforgiving roads, forced to brave extreme weather conditions every single day. But on most occasions, we don’t spare a second thought for them.
As the temperatures drop to unforgiving lows, we witness heartbreaking news reports of the most vulnerable paying the ultimate price. Daily, we hear stories of the homeless succumbing to the harsh winter conditions. Donatekart Foundation is working with trusted NGOs to ensure that these poor and underprivileged souls are not left all alone during the winter months.

Saju Talukdar, the founder of Bir Birsa Munda Cloth Bank, has been as been bringing smiles to the faces of thousands of people for more than a decade by giving them clothes to wear. Over 4000 people in the remote villages of North Bengal have benefited from his noble efforts. “Alipurduar, West Bengal is extremely cold during the winter and we are in dire need of warm blankets and winter clothes. The people here mostly depend on the tea gardens. Families of four survive on a meager salary and buying warm clothes is nothing short of a luxury for these workers. With your support, they can get some relief in this weather,” - Saju, speaking about the poor and needy.
Just like Talukdar, Dadasaheb Gaikwad in Pune has dedicated his life to the service of the homeless and the less fortunate people. Once a cab driver in Pune, his sole mission now is to look after those living on the streets. This winter, he needs your support too.

“The smiles on their faces speak volumes, who would have known that a single blanket or a warm sweater could make someone this happy? Please consider supporting these helpless people who have no one in this world,” - Dadasaheb Gaikwad.
These individuals are not statistics; they are our neighbors, our fellow citizens
Join hands with Donatekart Foundation, this winter and end the suffering of those who endure winter's wrath on the streets. Your contribution can provide not just blankets and warm clothing but a lifeline to those who are battling to survive. Even a small donation can make a difference - this is your chance to save countless lives.

It started with him sharing his lunch with the hungry souls on the street and now he is a ray of hope for Pune’s less fortunate.
